The darkest day has now passed, New Year celebrations are behind us, the promise of spring is not far away, signs of warmer sunshine and longer days are on their way. This is the time of year when we look at ourselves and wonder how we can improve our lives for the future.

But resolutions are often short lived because we don’t prepare ourselves properly for the changes that we want to make.  For example, it’s simple to make a wish to lose weight;  we can visualise our new bodies, but until we first discover what foods satisfy our bodies and our appetite we will never succeed.

One way to make a very wonderful change to your life (and the lives of others) is to become a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor. It’s easy to imagine ourselves in our new roles. Maybe sharing our knowledge with customers who soon become good friends, maybe living in sun drenched locations with blue seas around. All of these fantasies can easily come true, but like all changes, we need to prepare ourselves for the challenges that we are about to make.

So maybe you want to become a PADI Instructor in 2012 but have heard horror myths that a PADI Instructor Development Course is stressful and tiring.  If you have heard something like this, it’s always because the IDC Candidate did not make the correct preparation before the start of their Instructor Training.

Virtually every single PADI IDC Candidate that books onto one of our “Prior Knowledge” IDC’s takes advantage of our Distance Learning Preparation Course, which means that they are ready to start their IDC in a relaxed and stress free manner. They can enjoy and take on board the wonderful teaching techniques and psychology that our PADI IDC’s are full of.
