Our last PADI IDC for 2013 is now over. We had 6 IDC Candidates that are now ready for the real world of teaching Scuba Diving. They learnt so much on this IDC: They learnt how to keep the attention of their future students, and they learnt some fantastic methods of teaching skills in the pool.
The whole course was so much fun, with laughter being the main method to learn new and exciting ways to teach Scuba Diving. The IDC days were kept as short as possible to allow the Candidates to rest in the evenings. Of course, that also meant more laughter while relaxing over a drink or ice cream before dinner.
The laughter was not restricted to the Classroom, nor the Swimming pool. Can you imagine how difficult it would be to keep your regulator in your mouth while you’re laughing so much?
PADI Platinum Course Director says:
“When people have trouble learning anything new, Stress is usually the number one barrier that prevents people from learning. It’s so important for people to have fun, to take down those barriers, and just let the new knowledge flow in”
Our next PADI IDC will be at Reef Oasis Dive Club in Sharm el Sheikh.
