When this IDC at Reef Oasis Beach Resort ended, a milestone was passed by two of our PADI IDC Staff Instructors.
Tom Cavens and PADI Course Director Bougourd now fulfil the criteria to apply for PADI Master Instructor.

Both were quick to say that they would love to continue staffing on our future IDCs. “It’s great to reach the rating of Master Instructor, but it’s not really something I set out to achieve, it just sort of happened.” Said Tom.
PADI Course Director was equally humble about his achievement. “When I first qualified as an Open Water Scuba Instructor, I never thought I would reach Master Instructor. It seemed just so far away. Now I have reached that level just by doing what I love….teaching people to dive.”
PADI Course Director was quick to add, “You won’t be able to keep me away from future IDCs now that I’ve reached Master Instructor. I love the process of instructor development. IDCs with you guys are very special.”
