Diving Courses – October

 

PADI DM in a week

Big congratulations to Kat and Paps, who qualified as PADI Divemasters at the start of October. Some people think that our  DM course is a week long!  Well, it’s a week spent with us but they had both put in a great deal of time and effort leading up to the week spent with us.

Diving Knowledge had been learnt through self study and PADI Course Director’s Distance Learning and their fitness and skills had been worked up to a great  standard under their own steam.

 

Qualification as a Divemaster should not be the end of the road and with PADI Course Director’s contacts in the dive industry, it was not the end of the Divemaster road for Kat.  In fact it was just the beginning as she flew out to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt to start gaining valuable experience as a PADI Divemaster with Emperor Divers. All of this, in readiness for our up-coming PADI IDC at Emperor Divers in November.

Next up was an ERF Instructor course with Karen, Scott and Stuart.  They had a lot of laughs whilst learning positive coaching techniques which they can use to teach practical first aid skills.

With their new positive approach, they will enjoying teaching EFR courses and create the confidence to care.

Well done Karen, Scott and Stuart.

 

Then it was time to say hello to some friends made at previous PADI IDCs. Tom, Fiona and Mark all became PADI Instructors with us during the passed few years and have had to achieve the PADI rating of Master Scuba Diver Trainer before they can come back to us and take their PADI training to the next level, IDC Staff Instructor.

PADI Course Director is particularly proud of his candidates who achieve PADI MSDT because it shows that the people he teaches get out there and do it.    Congratulations to Tom, Fiona and Mark for qualifying as PADI IDC Staff Instructors.
