Every journey starts with the first step.
For Ray and Julie, this was just the first step of a very exciting journey this year. 2013 will see them get married in Mauritius, and then become PADI Scuba Diving Instructors in Egypt in November.
They got a taste of what their new life will be when they learnt lots of interesting and fun teaching tips during their EFR instructor course. Both Ray and Julie have had experience of teaching in the military, and in the Fire Brigade. So they are both very aware of what makes a good instructor and what makes a bad instructor. They were both delighted to see the techniques that I showed them.
They now are brimming with excitement, and can’t wait to put those methods into use.
For my part, I’m really looking forward to the November PADI IDC at Emperor Divers in Sharm. I know that there will be lots of deep belly laughter!
